With the certification of the NDL-3016R/L, the starline Computer GmbH offers hardware certified by Open-E that can be individual iSCSI/NAS systems as well also being used in many different storage solutions.

The NASdeluxe NDL-3016R/L systems using Open-E DSS V6 provide a cost effective way to centrally provide disks via iSCSI and NAS shares. They dominate iSCSI and NFS failover and are suitable for virtualization.

Open-E DSS (Data Storage Software) V6 is a fully for storagetasks optimized operating system that runs independently on the NASdeluxe systems. This is managed through a web interface or CLI. Thanks to the easy handling, administrators are always in a position to make configuration changes with just a few steps. Linux skills are not required.

With the installed Areca 6Gbit/s RAID-Controllers you can use for both SAS and SATA hard drives as well as SSDs in the same enclosure. Unlike software-based RAID solutions the  high performance RAID processor ensures high data transfer rates, regardless of the system load. The NDL-3016R/L NASdeluxe with Open-E DSS V6 supports current interface technologies such as 10Gbit/s Ethernet (fiber and copper) and 8Gbit/s Fibre Channel.
