starline releases 4TB SATA hard drives for a variety of RAID-, NAS-Systems and servers.

The introduction of 4TB SATA nearline drives allows much higher storage capacities in professional storage systems.

4TB SATA HDDs in RAID-, NAS-and Server-Systems

In RAIDdeluxe RDL64 disk arrays with 64 drive bays up to 256TB total capacity can be provided in only 4u rack space. with the low power consumption the 4TB SATA hard drives provide an improved energy balance. Zealbox servers in 1u rack space are obtained with four hard disks up to 16TB total capacity with low power consumption - ideal for use in a rented rack space at the hosting company.

A large number of available starline RAID-, NAS-Systems and servers have been tested in combination with 4TB SATA hard drives in endurance tests for stability, data security, performance and temperature evolution already.

This test series was completed sucessfully by the the current RAID systems from easyRAID, Infortrend and RAIDdeluxe, NASdeluxe systems, all Zealbox Servers and Areca 6Gbit/s SAS RAID-Controller.
