Enormous data transfer rates with STEC SSDs ZeusRAM

Both read and write reached the STEC ZeusRAM values of about 100,000 IO/s (for data transfer rates of over 800MB/s).

The ZeusRAM of STEC SSD is absolute top class. With ZeusRAM STEC SSD, the speed of DDR3 RAM modules is used through SAS2. Data is stored non-volatile and in contrast to normal RAM is still available after the loss of operating voltage.

Particularly well suited is the ZeusRAM as caching device, for example in FalconStor NSS (HotZone and safe cache) or any type of metadata journaling and indexing. The connection is via the ZeusRAM 2 SAS data paths - both can be used actively (Multipathing with Round Robin).
