Infortrend with new support portal, and new firmware for VMware environments

Using the new support portal Infortrend customers can download the current firmware and software for your RAID systems without big effort.

It is particularly easy to find files with the serial number: The Support Portal lists only the matching files and also provides an overview of the changes and improvements (release notes) are available.

New functions overview:

• News and Knowledge Base
• Create and manage support requests (tickets)
• Easy to find controller firmware and device-SN
• Download management software and tools (eg SANWatch)

New firmware for VMware environments

Through the new support portal the new firmware 3.73x50 for redundant Infortrend EonStor systems is available. This brings important improvements in the use of VMware ESX / ESXi 4.x.

We recommend our customers to run this update. After the by the update of the RAID system required restart a parity check should be started.
