LTO Ultrium-5 cartridges can hold with 1.5TB uncompressed capacity almost double the amount the data than the 800GB LTO Ultrium-4 cartridges.

Whilst external and internal drives are already available, tape libraries and autoloader will be shortly also equipped with LTO-5 drives.
