The EonNAS systems offer file-and block-based applications with a single device. The data storage on the EonNAS systems is enhanced by duplication of the best use of resources and ZFS file system. With data deduplication a large number of applications also benefit, such as backup and virtualization applications. Storage savings of up to 90 percent are possible. The ZFS file system achieves end-to-end data integrity due to hierarchical checksum mechanism.

Snapshots offer space-efficient differential data copies to rollback data / restore files.
