The Zealbox Z20.10, Z20.11, Z20.11x, Z20.12x and Z20.15 servers are conceived especially for the use with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 and VMware vSphere.

The servers from the Z20 series are based on a thought-out total concept: open platform with highly competitive hardware, passive cooled processors and excellent possiblity for further expansion. In Zealbox servers exclusively high-quality components of manufacturers like Intel, Supermicro, LSI and Areca find use.

The servers differ in her enlargement possibility: The Z20.10 offers PCIe and PCI-X slots,the Z20.11 and Z20.12x offer PCIe and PCI slots, the Z20.15 exclusively PCIe. Thanks to modular construction different configurations are possible. Four Intel of Gb LAN ports provides for network connectivity, an enlargement with additional FC, LAN and SAS ports is possible. A server can use up to two processors from Intel (5500/5600 series).

High-quality DDR3-RAM with ECC guarantees a reliable usage and corrects bit mistakes automatically. Up to 8 disk drives can be integrated directly in the case, the built-in hardware SAS RAID-Controller provides high Data Transfer Rates. To protect the operating system, two 15k rpm, SAS HDDs with 300 GB capacity each are running with RAID level 1.

All Zealbox server dispose of an IPMI interface with dedicated LAN port. Settings can be thereby carried out already at BIOS level from a distance as well as supervised all status announcements centrally. Temperature-steered fans and the redundant PSU with 80 PLUS GOLD certification allow an energy-efficient usage of the Zealbox Z20.10, Z20.11, Z20.11x, Z20.12x and Z20.15 server.

Starting the servers is possible without set up efford – according Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 with Hyper-V or VMware vSphere 5 is completely installed and adapted on the hardware. If a mistake occurs, a recovery USB-Stick is provided to run the servers in the shortest time again.
