Areca external RAID adapters and ARC-4020ML/ARC-4036ML are an external solution with Multi-Lane (ML)/Min SAS host connectivity for use with your PC or Mac workstation. Those controllers support up to 8 SATA ll 3Gbit/s peripheral devices using multi-lane box (ARC-4020ML).

The model ARC-4036 can be connected either to a SAS RAID-controller or to a SAS RAID-system like the ARC-8040. The drive carriers can be used for 3.5 LFF and 2.5 SFF drives without requiring further mounting material.
