Our unified storage system for block, file and cloud access from Infortrend’s GS series offers 12 drive bays in this expansion. Its flexible interface configuration recommends it for diverse storage tasks. Note: Infortrend is giving away free data services until the end of 2021: SSD caching, automated storage tiering (2 tiers), local replication (snapshot and volume copy/mirror) and remote replication.

Our engineering department has designed these affordable network storage devices for various load scenarios. Its platform-independent design allows access across many protocols. For example, FreeNAS can handle SMB/CIFS, NFS, AFP, FTP, iSCSI and WebDAV. These sophisticated TrueNAS/FreeNAS servers are available from us with an excellent backup option to disk, tape and the cloud.

Especially users from the media industry, for example in audio or video editing, will appreciate the fast 12-bay storage cube. Equipped with twelve large data carriers, the Thunderbolt storage provides fast access at 40 Gbps. Since there must be no disturbing background noise in the SOHO, Areca engineers also installed an intelligent cooling system.

In order to save space, Areca’s developers have dispensed with all attachments such as display and control elements for the mobile data storage device. With the ARC-8050T3U-6M, very large amounts of data – such as from an SLR or video camera – can be securely and quickly outsourced to six SSDs via Thunderbolt3 while on the move. The 12-volt connection enables stable operation via battery or on-board voltage wherever no mains power is available.

The Areca ARC-8050T3 SAN (ARC-8050T3S4U-24) with its 24 LFF bays not only convinces with a huge payload data pool.
