NAS Backup
The update secures data in network shares on NAS devices and on Windows and Linux servers. Thus, you can protect large amounts of data from ransomware attacks and be able to restore files effortlessly to a user-defined location.
Resistance against ransomware increased
Hardened AMI
Deployed as a pre-configured Amazon Machine Image, NAKIVO Backup & Replication protects its backup data from deletion and encryption by ransomware. Backups sent to a repository provided as part of AMI can be made immutable for a specified period of time.
Microsoft 365 privacy extended
Group Backup
By securing Microsoft 365 Groups, the update improves the protection of your SaaS data. It thus avoids performance degradation and maintains productive teamwork, ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
VM backup performance optimized
Backup Nimble Storage Snapshots
VMware VMs hosted on Nimble storage devices can now be backed up directly from storage snapshots instead of regular VM snapshots. Thus, this update also reduces the load on your production environment.
Prevents data corruption in enterprise environments
Support for external databases
NAKIVO Backup & Replication switches from the integrated H2 database to an external PostgreSQL database in the new edition. As a result, it achieves better performance, avoids resource overload, and easily manages enterprise-scale environments.
