Micron's top-of-the-line 9400 series achieves a whopping 7 gigabytes per second read and even write on the PCIe Gen4 bus. Add to that an exceptionally high input/output random read performance of up to 1.6 million IOPS.

With a Drive Write per Day (DWPD), the 9400 PRO can be used for industry-standard workloads that will last until the end of the five-year warranty period. Compared to the previous generation, they deliver up to 77% more IOPS/Watt and thus operate particularly economically.

The U.2/U.3 models fit into standard storage servers and NAS systems with a housing height of 15 millimetres.
