The sophisticated storage box handles USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.2 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 3 via a single port, and the fast RAID systems are available with 4, 6, 8 and 12 drive bays. As an operating system-independent storage system, the installation succeeds without additional software or drivers. For the necessary security of the data stored on it, it supports RAID levels 0, 1, 10, 1E, 3, 5, 6, single disk or JBOD. The compact storage cubes are suitable wherever large amounts of data need to be quickly available at individual workstations. This is especially true for the media industry, for example in audio or video editing as well as in photo composing. Since there must be no disturbing noise, Areca's engineers installed an intelligent cooling system in the ARC-8050T3U. It continuously adapts to the ambient conditions by automatically regulating the speed of the brushless fan.
