The sophisticated storage box can handle USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1, USB 3.2 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 3 via a single connection. The fast RAID systems are available with 4, 6, 8 and 12 drive bays. As an operating system-independent storage system, installation is possible without additional software or drivers. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, 6, single disc or JBOD for the necessary security of the data stored on it.
The compact storage cubes are suitable wherever large amounts of data need to be available quickly at individual workstations. This is particularly true for the media industry, for example in audio or video editing as well as photo composing. As there must be no disruptive noise, the Areca engineers installed an intelligent cooling system in the ARC-8050T3U. It continuously adapts to the ambient conditions by automatically regulating the speed of the brushless fan.
