The QSA28 from Mellanox's DynamiX QSA series, as a QSFP28 to SFP28 adapter, enables a smooth and cost-effective connection between a single lane transceiver/cable and a quad lane port. So through the QSA28, the admin can connect a SFP28/SFP+/SFP transceiver or cable to a QSFP28 port of a Nx100Gbit/s switch or a network interface card (NIC). It conforms to the SFF-8402 standard on the SFP28 side and SFF-8665 on the QSFP28. The adapter is QSFP28 format with a female SFP28 transceiver/AOC/DAC connector. It works with all major optical module manufacturers and direct connect copper cables.
