Mellanox's DAC splitter cables form a cost-effective 100GbE to 4x 25GbE high-speed Ethernet solution designed to meet a growing need in the data center. The MCP7F00 cables meet standard SFF-8402 SFP28 and SFF-8665 QSFP28 specifications, allowing systems to be connected with one QSFP28 port on one side and up to four different SFP28 ports on the other. Each QSFP28/SFP28 port has an EEPROM with product information built in that can be read by the host system.
