Mellanox's DAC splitter cables form a cost-effective 100GbE to 2x 50GbE high-speed Ethernet solution designed to meet a growing need in the data center. The MCP7H00 cables meet standard SFF-8665 QSFP28 specifications and can be used to connect systems with one QSFP28 port on one side and two QSFP28 ports on the other. Each QSFP28 port has a built-in EEPROM with product information that can be read by the host system.
