The cost-effective active optical splitter cable (AOC) from Mellanox's MFS1S50 series is based on QSFP56 VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology. It splits 200 Gbit/s into 2 x 100 Gbit/s and is designed for use in InfiniBand HDR (High Data Rate) systems.
