The Mellanox MMA1B00-E100 is designed as a pluggable, 4-channel QSFP28 optical transceiver for use in 100 Gbit/s EDR InfiniBand systems. The module incorporates integrated Mellanox technology to achieve high performance with low power consumption. It operates over parallel multimode fiber (MMF) with a nominal wavelength of 850 nm and is built to be SFF-8665 compliant.The MMA1B00-E100 has a standard QSFP28 connector on the electrical side toward the host system that supports EDR. The optical interface consists of four optical channels/fibers in each direction, designed for parallel MMF cables with standard MPO connectors.
