Mellanox's MMA1L10-CR transceiver can provide 100-Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) connections over 10 km of single-mode fiber as a transceiver. It is also suitable for use in Mellanox InfiniBand EDR end-to-end systems. The transceiver is compliant with QSFP28 MSA, IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4, and IEEE 802.3bm CAUI-4. The module converts 4 input channels of 25 Gbps electrical data into 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals, then multiplexes them into a single fiber with a nominal wavelength of 1310 nm for 100 Gbps optical transmission. Conversely, at the receiver side, the module de-multiplexes the 100 Gbit/s into 4 channels and converts them into 4 output channels."
