Neat cabling, reliable power
rack-mount power distribution units (PDUs)
Energy Management with PDU
A PDU guarantees a monitored and secured power supply to your valuable IT systems in the data centre, whether in the office or in the data centre.
In IT environments, clearly arranged power distribution units are mandatory. After all, servers run for several years and during this time it must be ensured that even in turbulent data centers a power plug is not even accidentally pulled at the rack. The devices presented here not only ensure power distribution, they also support remote control.
This means that individual outputs or sockets can be switched on and off via the network from any location. With Daisy Chaining, this is even possible via several interconnected PDUs and one IP address.

Simple, professional monitoring
A metered PDU reports real-time load via its built-in LCD. The display can be rotated for perfect readability in any mounting position, and its back-light colour is user-selectable—handy for visually grouping PDUs by power domain.
Integrated Ethernet modules provide remote supervision and real-time configuration. Event logging through a web browser or network connection lets you review and archive power metrics over time. Automatic alerts via e-mail, SMS, or SNMP trap keep you informed the moment thresholds are breached.
Although each unit operates reliably at ambient temperatures up to 60 °C, an optional environmental sensor can be added for continuous temperature and humidity monitoring—delivering an extra layer of protection for high-density racks.
