Safeguard your data with UPS power
Uninterrupted and secure.
Zero-panic power continuity — CyberPower UPS solutions
Discover how to shut down your high-availability servers safely—or keep them running—when the mains go dark.
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) delivers the reserve power required for a controlled shutdown of every connected system. Depending on battery capacity, it can also maintain limited operation for a defined period—from a few minutes to several hours. The right size depends entirely on your objectives:
- Graceful shutdown – enough runtime to flush write caches and power servers down cleanly.
- Extended uptime – additional reserves to keep critical services online for as long as possible.
CyberPower UPS units let you choose the exact autonomy your infrastructure demands, safeguarding data integrity and business continuity even in a complete power outage.

CyberPower UPS systems
Beyond delivering emergency power, the CyberPower units we supply also shield your infrastructure from line noise and voltage spikes on both power and signal paths. Each UPS continuously reports input-side power status to the host server, allowing the server to initiate an orderly shutdown the moment mains power is lost.
From the entry-level UT series to professional models for complex networks, Starline has a CyberPower UPS for every application—along with the full range of accessories such as remote-management cards, replacement batteries, and PDUs. An intuitive, no-cost management suite lets you fine-tune every UPS precisely to your operational requirements.

- Protection against data loss during power outages
- Protection of sensitive devices from voltage fluctuations
- Automatic shutdown of systems by the management software
Consider the power of your devices (in watts or VA respectively) and choose a UPS with sufficient capacity. CyberPower offers an online calculator to help you choose.
Line-interactive UPS: Regulates slight voltage fluctuations without using batteries. The UPS is virtually on standby during normal operation.
Online UPS: Offers maximum protection thanks to continuous double conversion technology. They are therefore permanently in operation.
- Battery capacity
- Total power of the connected devices
- Battery condition
The runtime depends on the battery capacity (with built-in battery or optional additional battery) and the attached load. You can call up corresponding predictions with the CyberPower runtime calculator.
Pure sine wave: A UPS with a pure sine wave generates an alternating current whose voltage curve has a perfect sinusoidal shape. Energy-saving power supply units with active power factor correction (PFC) require a pure sine wave source.
Modified sine wave: A UPS without a pure sine wave, often referred to as a modified sine wave, generates a voltage curve that is not perfectly sinusoidal. With this type of UPS, the peaks of the sine wave are flattened or cut off to save costs and increase efficiency. Non-inductive loads and insensitive electronics are suitable for such UPS
Install the UPS in a dry environment, connect the devices and charge the battery at least 8 hours before first use.
In a well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Simplified: Add up the Watt or VA specifications of all the devices concerned. CyberPower also offers a calculator for this purpose.
