Astek's 1U, 2x 12-port (96 lane) 12 Gbps switch A59612-SW is configured with 24x 4 wide ports, each capable of delivering 48 Gbps through the front panel management and SAS ports. The switch extends the capabilities of SAS in direct-attached storage (DAS) environments by enabling multiple servers to connect to one or more independent storage systems. The A59612-SW switch provides a cost-effective and easy-to-use storage networking option for rackmount server and storage deployments in cloud computing environments, mega data centers, and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It supports DataBolt or End Device Frame Buffering (EDFB), which enables bandwidth optimization with existing 6 Gbps SAS and SATA media.
