The Ultra model EonStor DS 3024SUC from Infrotrend focuses on particularly high performance. The single controller system (2U with 24 SFF bays), which can be upgraded to dual controllers, is already equipped with a 4 GB cache ex works, which can be upgraded to 64 GB. The integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports can be expanded by the admin via many further hostboard options with 16-32 Gbit/s FC, 12 Gbit/s SAS or 10-40 Gbit/s iSCSI. Along the way, it improves SAN/DAS deployments at SMBs as well as large enterprises by being fast, reliable, easy to manage and comes with comprehensive software packages.
