With TopRAID, the name says it all: The noble RAID systems M120 and M320 are trimmed for reliability down to the last screw: The best components, the highest quality workmanship and sophisticated software features are fused into a true data bastion. For example, you can upgrade and downgrade firmware while the system is running. Each controller can even be rebooted during operation - without downtime of the storage system. In addition, there are other features that you look for in vain in other systems. Such as: Super-Phoenix for cold start and diagnosis of individual HDDs, cache partitioning, I/O Load Manager (QoS) and MAID technology. The latter saves a lot of power, as spindle motors are completely switched off in standby.These storage systems with their lush triple entries are suitable as highly available primary storage for virtualization, cloud computing, AI applications, IoT tasks and robotics. The 2U M320-24R model featured here has redudant controllers. It has 24 SFF drive bays built in, which can be populated with SAS drives.
