Hard disks from the MG series form the spearhead at Toshiba. They have been designed for 24/7 operation in enterprise systems and thus meet even the highest demands. The LFF HDDs are suitable for storage arrays as well as for industrial server and storage systems. Their state-of-the-art technology enables them to cope with special requirements - from data centers and cloud-class infrastructures. Thus, the endurance drives deliver transfer workloads of 550 TB per year.The 16 TB model from the MG08 subfamily shines on 9 disks with 2.5 million hours MTBF, Persistent Write Cache and dual-port 12 Gbit/s SAS interface.
