Die MG10SFA22TE erreicht ihre Kapazität von 22 TB mit CMR (conventional magnetic recording) in Verbindung mit der innovativen Flux Control Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (FC-MAMR)-Technologie von Toshiba. Als branchenübliche 3,5-Zoll-HDD bietet sie mit 7200 U/min die Ideale Festplatte zur Erweiterung von Cloud-Speicherinfrastrukturen, für geschäftskritische Server/Speicher sowie für Datei- und Objektspeicherlösungen. Ihr heliumversiegeltes Design reduziert den Luftwiderstand und senkt so das Stromverbrauchsprofil des Laufwerks erheblich, was sich positiv auf die Gesamtbetriebskosten (TCO) von Rechenzentrumsinfrastrukturen auswirkt. Dieses 22 TB-Modell aus der MG10-Serie hat einen 6 Gbit/s SATA-Port eingebaut.
