The ultra model EonStor DS 3016RUC from Infrotrend focuses on particularly high performance. The system, equipped with dual controller and protected with and Super Capacitor, is already equipped with a 4 GB cache from the factory, which can be upgraded to 64 GB. Thus, 16 drives can be accommodated on 3U. The integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports can be expanded by the admin via many further hostboard options with 16-32 Gbit/s FC, 12 Gbit/s SAS or 10-40 Gbit/s iSCSI. Along the way, it improves SAN/DAS deployments at SMBs as well as large enterprises by being fast, reliable, easy to manage and comes with comprehensive software packages.
