The NASdeluxe NDL-5000R/L systems are unified storage systems that can be used individually or in a cluster. They offer block-based storage via iSCSI or Fibre Channel as well as file-based storage via NFS and/or CIFS/SMB. Systems with Open-E's DSS V7 operating system can be operated as iSCSI and NFS clusters with failover, even in active-active mode. The performance of both cluster nodes is available. The NDL-5000R/L systems are available in chassis variants of up to 72 drive bays.The basic NDL-5824R/L model in a 2U rackmount chassis with 24 SFF bays can be equipped with interface cards as required.
