The SN2700 series provides a reliable and high-performance 100 GbE ToR switching platform. It forms an ONIE (Open Network Install Environment) based platform that allows a variety of operating systems on it, combining the benefits of Open Networking and the capabilities of Mellanox Spectrum ASICs. As a spine and top-of-rack (ToR) solution, it offers maximum flexibility with port speeds ranging from 10 to 100 Gbps per port. SN2700 series models feature a Spectrum ASIC and 32 ports of 100 GbE. They deliver a massive 6.4 Tbit/s throughput with a processing capacity of 9.52 billion packets per second (Bpps) in 1U.
