With an increasing number of AV streams over Ethernet - for example, when expanding with additional video workstations - a faster Ethernet infrastructure is inevitably required. NETGEAR has specifically developed the M4500-48XF8C and M4500-32C for this purpose, which represent a new class of switches: The M4500-32C, for example, is an AV over IP-capable 100G Ethernet switch that combines the configurability of an AV matrix switch with the performance and scalability possible over Ethernet (SDVoE). With its 32 100G ports, it can power hundreds of AV over IP endpoints without bottlenecking.
