These high-speed switches connect servers in computer clusters with each other or couple them with the mass storage devices in the Storage Area Network (SAN).
InfiniBand switches for future scaling
Per channel, between 2.5 GBps (SDR) and up to 50 Gbps (HDR) can be transmitted bidirectionally. In addition, an InfiniBand switch bundles several channels transparently in one cable. Normally, four channels are combined in this way, but for higher throughput, such as with switched fabric applications, more than 12 channels can be used.
We therefore provide the right switch for every requirement with the maximum possible transmission rate and the necessary scaling options, so that future expansion is always guaranteed.
