From Western Digital's successful hybrid storage platform, we offer the JBOD Ultrastar Data102 for next-generation decoupled and software-defined storage (SDS) systems. Its compact and efficient form factor provides 102 bays for various combinations of HDDs and SSDs - in either SATA or SAS. This strikes the perfect balance between capacity, performance and cost. In fact, it can provide more than 1.8 petabytes of raw capacity in four height units. In addition, it provides a switchable option with flash data acceleration to be able to handle both fast and big data applications via a single platform.
Meanwhile, maintenance is particularly easy thanks to ergonomically arranged controls. Their IsoVibe decoupling technology also ensures effective damping of any vibrations. And to keep the drives from getting too hot, ArcticFlow temperature zone technology ensures effective cooling.
All in all, the Ultrastar Data102 JBOD meets the high storage requirements of enterprise customers, storage OEMs, cloud service providers and resellers/integrators. They are the ones who need such dense, shareable HDD or hybrid storage.
