Über unsere optischen Kabel von Partner Areca lässt sich eine komplette Agentur, Medienbüro oder Praxis in Highspeed-Geschwindigkeit vernetzen, denn üblicherweise ist das mit den mitgelieferten und nur zwei Meter langen elektrischen Kabel nicht möglich. Wir haben deshalb auch noch weitere Längen mit 5, 10, 15 und 25 Meter im Programm. Einstecken, fertig.


Zudem kommen die optischen Kabel ohne weitere Infrastruktur wie etwa Switche und Netzwerkdosen aus. Ein Storage-System kann damit – der Lautstärke wegen – auch in einen anderen Raum verlagert werden.

Darüber hinaus sind auch noch andere Konstellationen denkbar. Starline hat zum Beispiel auch Bridges im Portfolio mit denen sich das Thunderbolt-Protokoll auch auf SAS oder Fibre Channel umsetzen lässt.
