With the NA211TB3 expansion chassis, Mac users can use additional PCIe cards when all slots are already occupied. Via the Thunderbolt3 port - the cable version of the fabulously fast PCIe bus - the services of the plug-in cards implanted in the NA211TB3 can thus be used on the host computer. The user can install three PCIe cards up to 315 mm long and 120 mm high in accordance with version 3.0 x8 in the housing - two slots are available for PCIe x16 cards. Compatible variants are available as graphics, audio or network cards and also as RAID controllers. (For example, RAID controllers from Areca, ATTO and Highpoint are supported). Provided the appropriate software, this external solution thus extends the host computer with the special talents of the expansion cards.
