Zealbox Z50 form an open hardware platform that can be installed in different housing variants depending on the performance and interface requirements of the customer. However, the Z50 servers have one thing in common: a single- or dual-socket boards based on Intel. In combination with the up to four terabytes of RAM in the 16 memory banks of the Supermicro board, there are no more performance bottlenecks. They are therefore ideally suited for virtualization, databases and hosting, or even as high-availability storage.In the various housing variants from two to four height units, our Z50 servers offer space for 8 to 36 SFF and/or LFF drives. The basic model Zealbox Z50.11-08R2 has a 2U rackmount chassis with eight LFF drive bays. Additional interfaces, controllers or other options are added as needed.
