The small ATTO bridges from the ThunderLink series extend the network as needed. Depending on the existing infrastructure, the practical Thunderbolt adapters are suitable for 10 or 40 Gbps Ethernet, 12 Gbps x4 SAS and also 16 or 32 Gbps Fibre Channel topologies. The ATTO ThunderLink NQ 3402 acts as an external Thunderbolt3 to 40 GbE bridge, connecting Thunderbolt-enabled systems (all-in-ones, notebooks and workstations) to 40 Gbps Ethernet networks and storages. The Ethernet version of ThunderLink bridges is the best choice for bandwidth-intensive applications such as data backup and recovery, clustered computing, IP content delivery, medical imaging and video playback.
